A: Apart from the numerous sizes we have on offer, we can also supply made to measure canvas prints. Just let us know what size you want by email or phone and we will give you a separate quote. The largest size we can print, however, is a width of 1300mm but there are no restrictions on length!
A: We do not advise cleaning your canvas prints with anything wet. Dry dusting is the best method of cleaning for all your canvas prints.
A: Absolutely. When entering your personal details you will be given an opportunity to say whether you wish to use your own address or supply a different delivery address.
A: Our Roland Eco-Sol Max Ink offers exceptional image quality. With a wider colour gamut, Eco-SOL MAX INKS delivers exceptionally bright reds, greens and blues. Higher ink density ensures rich, solid colours. These graphics are not just beautiful...they’re also durable and UV Resistant.
A: Yes of course you can! If you have a traditional photograph with no way of scanning it then simply opt to send your image / photograph in the post. This option is available during the order process. After we've produced your canvas print we will return your photograph by post.
A: For a really high quality canvas print Picturepix recommends that your image is at least 300kb in memory size for any canvas print. The larger the image memory size from your digital camera the better and sharper the final canvas print shall be. For large sized canvas prints (+30" x 40") Picturepix recommends at least a 1MB image memory size.
In short set your digital camera from it's menu to the largest resolution, memory or measurement size it is capable. Remember, the larger the original image the better the final canvas prints will be (Size does matter). A normal digital camera with the settings on high will give you 3MB photos which can easily be used to print the biggest size canvas prints. You can upload up to 10MB to the Picturepix website so if you do have a higher resolution image then please upload the highest size image you have as it will result in a far sharper and clearer image print.
A: Your canvas print will be tightly mounted over a quality stretcher frame in the finest pine 30mm deep using genuine 100% cotton canvas.
A: We always print at 1440 dpi for all our canvas prints, providing crisp, sharp text and images even on the smallest graphics and the biggest photographic images.
A: If we detect that your image is really too small to produce a high quality canvas print we will contact you by e-mail or by phone. If you ordered a really big canvas with a very small image we will suggest getting a smaller size canvas.
If you paid too much we will refund the extra amount. We do not decline any prints. In some cases somebody wants to print a really low quality image because the person on the photo decided and doesn't have a better image. In such cases we will make contact to confirm.
A: Our premium high quality art canvas is 100% cotton and has a natural feel and refined weave to give a high quality finish and excellent colour reproduction. It has a relatively bright, semi matt finish. It is water resistant and has a good resistance to edge cracking and abrasion.
